The quantum kicked rotor revisited

摘要
The often-studied quantum kicked rotor is examined with a modification of boundary conditions to allow for irrational momentum eigenvalues. This modification leads to a new eigenvalue equation. We develop methods for finding and visualizing solutions. We present some preliminary results.
