摘要
The glazed facade of a building is the part that produces the greatest energy losses and gains. The need to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions was one of the reasons that gave rise to dynamic windows. Of these kinds of windows, those comprising two laminated glass panels with water circulating through the chamber have far more benefits compared to other kinds due to their low cost, easy availability and high opacity to infrared radiation. The basic aim of this work is to achieve a more efficient heat control in closed spaces. To this end, an exhaustive study has been made of active double glazing with a circulating water chamber. Not only has the energy consumption for heating and cooling been analysed but also the contribution in the production of hot water in the building. The layout of the proposed facility, without any need for additional energy source, facilitates its integration into any type of building, either under construction or being renovated. The results of this study show that the solution of double glazing with a circulating water chamber is a less polluting and more efficient option than the systems currently used.
