PAPR Reduction Method based on Pilot-Assisted FBMC in Broadband power line communication

摘要
This study investigates the problem of high peak to average power ratio(PAPR) in the broadband power line communication(PLC) based on pilot-assisted Filter Bank Multicarrier(FBMC).To cancel the problem of imaginary interference in FBMC system,we used auxiliary pilot. Then,based on the Pilot assisted FBMC system, a hybrid method of beneficial clipping with filtering is applied to reduce the PAPR. The Pilot-Assisted FBMC was submitted to the PLC channel model and the performance was evaluated through PAPR and BER curves.By comparing this method with the clipping method, we can see that the proposed method is not only improving PAPR but also improving BER.
