摘要
This paper proposes a delay profile measurement scheme for estimating W-CDMA systems performance in practical service areas. The scheme uses the P-CPICH continuously transmitted from each base station. Its two key points are; detecting the synchronization timing from just P-CPICH and measuring SIR delay profile in addition to power delay profile. We clarify the performance of the measurement system analytically and show the results of tests conducted on a prototype.
