摘要：

The weighted averaging (WA) operator and the ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operator are the basic aggregation operators. Recently, a new hybrid weighted arithmetical averaging (HWAA) operator is proposed by Lin and Jiang to provide a unified framework between the WA and OWA operators. In this paper, I have some comments on their results. The major one concerns the monotonicity of the HWAA operator. (C) 2012 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
