摘要：
The aim of this paper is to estimate the population of Ugaritian villages according to the information provided by the text RS 94.2411 (published as RSOu 18 1). The data recorded in this text force us to correct previous studies on this question. The study of the geographical distribution of the population shows that the majority of people are concentrated in coastal villages and settlements surrounding the city of Ugarit, while mountain regions were sparsely populated.
