摘要：
The subject of this review is product Lifecycle Management or PLM. It is very important to realize that PLM does not define a piece of technology, but it is a business concept that defines the approach for solving the problems in product and product information definition and management process. The main reasons for a review of this subject emerges from the need of today's enterprises for support in business decision process, collaboration and integration of tools, information's and skills across the entire enterprise. This paper presents the basic approach to PLM and its solutions today.
