Evolution of tactical systems in field football: a literature review

Introduction: football is a team sport that has been changing over the years. Technological advances along with modern programs monitor the athlete during the match, providing accurate data to performance analysts. Objective: To demonstrate the evolution of tactical issues in field football throughout history, exploring its nuances that facilitate sports performance. Materials and Methods: This work consists of a literature review in the main databases Scielo, Google Scholar; Sportdiscus, considering the history of field football. Results: Understanding in team sports must be associated with the development acquired during the learning process, giving priority to logical game factors such as defense, attack, favorable and unfavorable situations, among others, making the student acquire knowledge and transferring them up to the formal game. Conclusion: To play football through tactical principles, the player must understand each one-off them and know the best time to put it into practice, combining technique with intelligence.
