Usability and user experience: Adaption and application for a railway related environment

摘要：
When developing consumer products, for a long time already usability is an issue and an integral part of the development process. For railway systems, usability is still a rather new area with new requirements. In our paper, we will discuss what makes usability and the newer research area of user experience for railways special and how certain features of the railway system, e.g. high requirements regarding safety will influence how usability can be included in the development process.
