摘要
A study of the corrosion and electrochemical behavior of metals modified with organosilane-based compositions has been carried out. It has been established that modification of the carbon-steel surface with aqueous solutions of organosilanes results in the formation of siloxane layers on the surface of a thickness of approximately a micrometer. The presence of organosilicon layers on the metal provided inhibition of both uniform corrosion and local (pitting) dissolution of carbon steel. The most effective were dense layers with the maximum cross-linking degree formed by modification from a 1% vinylsilane solution or using a mixture of vinyl- and aminosilanes. Organosilicon surface layers formed after metal modification by solutions of organosilane-based compositions were resistant to prolonged exposure to water, aggressive chloride ions and anodic polarization.
