THE BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT IN UNIVERSITY ENVIRONMENT TO SUPPORT THE INNOVATIONS IN EDUCATION

Universities are presented as an environment with a high degree of autonomy and business processes that are adapted to the academic and scientific community. These do not often reflect the real needs and they hinder the development and implementation of innovation in education. Therefore, in order to the universities to reach a competitive environment, it is essential to implement the standard business processes into universities environment to ensure that their strategic goals are met. Every process in organization, including the universities have to be described, maintained, measured and evaluated to have conditions to their regular improvement. Appropriate business processes help organizations to respond flexibly to the desired changes and encourage the introduction of innovative processes and tools to help them stay competitive. In our contribution, we analyze the impact of well-designed critical business processes supported by modern technology in university education institutions. In addition to economic impacts, we also monitor sustainability space for future development of education.
