The force-frequency effects and their frequency turn-over temperature characteristics for SC-cut quartz resonators

摘要
This study was conducted, both theoretically and experimentally, to investigate non-linear stress effects for in-plane diametric force-induced frequency shifts in circular SC-cut resonators. The frequency temperature characteristics under stressed SC-cults are also discussed. The theory was expanded using the force-coefficients defined by the elastic stiffness constants. The quadric formula between the frequency turn-over temperatures and the magnitudes of applied in-plane diametric forces are also discussed.
