Suggestions on Legal Regulations of Developing Low Carbon Economy in China

In order to alleviate pressure of resource, protect the ecological environment, develop clean energy and promote the sustainable development of economy in China, we need to develop low-carbon economy. Low carbon economy is an economic model with low-consumption, low-pollution and low-emission. The paper analyzes the concept of low-carbon economy and the current situation of low-carbon economy development in China. It puts forward related suggestions to perfect the legislation and strengthen the law enforcement. Constructing perfect law mechanism is of great significance to develop low-carbon economy and protect global environment.
