The purpose of this conference was to explain the relationship between the inte-grative and complementary medicine and cancer disease through evidence-based medicine. The topics covered are numerous and are character-ized by the multidisciplinary approach of the re-searchers involved in this complex scenario. The Integrative Medicine Research Group (IMRG) stud-ies the complementary and integrative approach in cancer patients with the aim to highlight the risk of drug and nutraceutical and, at the same time, improve the quality of life in this particular set of patients. Our auspicious is to have an integrative medicine approach to all chronic diseases, onco-logical included.
