Development Strategy of the Digital Library in University Based on SWOT Analysis

Coming with the time of electronic information and network, the traditional mode of service function of library cannot meet far the diverse needs of readers of students. In this state, it has become an inevitable trend to establish a digital library with collection of network and electronic publications in the integrative multi-functional modern. In this paper. SWOT analysis on the strength, weakness, opportunity and threat of the digital library in universities in China, the development strategy of the digital library in universities is obtained. The results are useful for the digital library in universities in China to develop healthily.
