摘要
A probabilistic-statistical model of a reverberation chamber (RC) is presented in this paper. This model is based on the resonant cavity mode theory and the Monte Carlo method. Numerical simulation results show that the statistical properties of the EM field within the chamber using this model agree well with the model of plane-wave integral (PWI) representation. The probability density functions (PDFs) for the E-field at different sampling points within the cavity are computed to further analyze the effects of the position, which puts forward an alternative model for the statistical analysis of RCs.
