摘要
A method is proposed for estimating the hydrogenation (hydrogen penetration) of a steel structure during its operation in a water-containing environment at an elevated temperature and excess pressure. Suppose that the structure is a rotating steel shell with variable geometric and physical-mechanical parameters along the generatrix. For a sustained period of time, one of the shell surfaces comes into contact with an aggressive water-containing environment, and the hydrogen from it diffuses into the material. The temperature field and the value of hydrogen concentration in the wall of the steel case of a diffusion apparatus under operation are determined to illustrate the proposed approach. This device is designed to produce extremely pure hydrogen.
