An Empirical Research on Products of Pork Competitiveness of Hubei Province

Along with the impact of globalization of world economy and the government attach importance to farmers, rural areas, agriculture production, livestock products competitiveness has become hotspot in academe study increasingly. Based on the monthly relevant data of pork from January 2003 to April 2007 in Hubei, this paper use Porter's introduction of Diamond Model, sets out from production factors and demand conditions, then analyzes the pork production's competitiveness in home market through both theory and empirical study, and puts forward solutions to enhance their competitiveness expounds the idiographic condition of Hubei.
