摘要：

Analysis on profitability has played a vital role in evaluating business development. From the perspective of comprehensive analysis of financial indicators, this paper has introduced the concept of using interval data for evaluating profitability of China's state-owned industrial enterprises. By using the method of complete-information-based principal component analysis (CIPCA), we have been enabled to assess various industries in dimensions of both profit quantity and profit quality simultaneously. Furthermore, a number of state-controlled listed companies from either power industry or chemical industry have been visualized on the component plot for comparison within the corresponding industry.
