摘要
Higher education institutions at the international level have seen the need to adopt and integrate information and communication technologies to manage the innovation opportunities and challenges in teaching and learning processes, which has led to the implementation of virtual learning environments called 'Learning Management Systems' (LMS), the function of which is to support flexible and active learning under a constructivist approach. This study measured the level of didactic and technological use of Moodle and its implications in teaching from a quantitative approach and applied a questionnaire to a sample of 640 higher education teachers. The results coincide with other studies, confirming instrumental and functional use of the platform, which is used mainly as a repository for materials and information. Thus, its pedagogical use is still limited, becoming a problem in higher education institutions as it requires discussion and reflection to adopt and integrate technology in the classroom.
