摘要
Mental health is set to be an important agenda for the new Equality and Human Rights Commission in the UK, providing a significant opportunity for coalescing the work of mental health service user/survivor and women's groups. In this context, this article examines the relationship between these groups, which has been marked by both convergence and cor testation. Drawing on a study of mental health service user/community groups in one locality, it explores some of the ideological and identity issues that require working through in order to achieve a common agenda for change.
