摘要
This paper investigates how network characteristics and topologies can affect the small signal stability of a converter-dominated microgrid. A Monte Carlo analysis is conducted in which randomly generated microgrids are created from three basic topologies of radial, ring and triangular mesh, and then assessed for small signal stability. The studies illustrate that simple unmeshed microgrid topologies and decoupling of adjacent converters via higher impedance filters or lines improve the stability margins of the microgrid.
