Influence of chemical structure and composition of mixed soft segments on the properties of elastomers with urethane-urea hard blocks

摘要
Poly(urethane ureas) with mixed poly(tetramethylene oxide) and poly(propylene oxide) blocks and poly(tetramethylene oxide)-polybutadiene soft segments were obtained. The influence of the composition of soft blocks on the structure and properties of the materials produced is analyzed. It was shown that the crystallization of poly(tetramethylene oxide) blocks may be excluded in blends with mixed soft segments. A nonadditive effect of various soft blocks on the mechanical and thermal properties of poly(urethane ureas) was revealed. The addition of a plasticizer that does not destroy the domains of hard urethane-urea blocks makes it possible to achieve a lower glass transition temperature of the material retaining its high strength parameters.
