摘要
In this paper, a method of increasing the bandwidth of a narrowband frequency selection circuit of a surface-acoustic-wave (SAW) RF band-pass filter (BPF) by using signal-interference technique is proposed. The bandwidth is increased by inserting SAW narrow-band BPF into the transversal filtering section (TFS) of the signal jamming filter while cascading two different transversal filters to increase bandwidth and filter selectivity. For practical verification, the circuit with a 916MHz commercial SAW filter chip shows a passband-width 8 times wider than the width of the embedded on-chip SAW BPF.
