摘要
Not all the functionalities provided by a real-time ORB are needed by every ORB user. It is necessary and useful to develop a customization tool through which the ORB users can select only the useful components required by their application needs among all the real-time ORB components and build a customized subset of the overall real-time ORB. This paper describes the key technical points involved in our development of the real-time ORB subset customization tool. This paper also presents the design and implementation of the real-time ORB subset customization tool we have developed. The main features and key benefits of the subset customization tool are discussed.
