Composition of the Leaf Essential Oils of Artemisia ciniformis Krasch et M. Pop. ex Poljak, Artemisia oliveriana J. Gay ex Bess. in DC. and Artemisia turanica Krasch., Three Asteraceae Herbs Growing Wild in Iran

摘要
Water-distilled essential oils from the leaves of Artemisia ciniformis Krasch. et M. Pop. ex Poljak, Artemisia oliveriana J. Gay ex Bess. in DC. and Artemisia turanica Krasch. were analyzed by GC and GC-MS. In the leaf oil of A. ciniformis, 17 components, which representing 100 % of the total composition were identified. Camphor (36.9 %), 1,8-cineole (20.3 %) and trans-pinocarveol (14.7 %) were the major components in this oil. In the leaf oil of A. oliveriana, 32 components, which represented about 100 % of the total oil, were identified. Borneol (9.5 %), eugenol (8.8 %) and spathulenol (7.7 %) were the major component in this oil. In the leaf oil of A. turanica, 11 components, representing 100 % of the total composition, were identified. 1,8-Cineole (37.7 %), alpha-thujone (26.7 %), and cis-chrysanthenol (15.3 %) were the major components in this oil.
