摘要
This paper deals with optical modeling of organic Solar cells (OSCs) using Transfer matrix method. It mainly deals with theoretical settings to improve the efficiency. In this work, active layer thickness has traditionally been chosen based on convenience and empirical results. The role of active layer thickness has been examined by optical simulation or organic solar cell with various thicknesses and corresponding current densities (J(sc)) are obtained. Simulations are performed using transfer matrix method developed by Stanford model. Simulation results show that such effects are responsible for the variations in performance as a function of active layer thickness.
