Religious modernism and postmodernism

Religious modernism and postmodernism considers new composite research method of the religious sphere evolution. This method is based on the dynamic integration of two sociological paradigms: social modernism and postmodernism. The representatives of these paradigms- "religious modernism" and "religious postmodernism" are analyzed. Possible positions of religion regarding social modernization are investigated. Their classification is proposed. The special attention is paid to the analysis of religious postmodernism as a paradigmal notion, which can give adequate interpretation of the religion in modern societies. Genetic links of religious modernism and postmodernism is demonstrated.
