摘要
An experimental study of the production of hydrogen and nanofilamentous carbon (NFC) by methane pyrolysis on Ni- and Ni + Cu-containing catalysts at 675A degrees C and pressures of up to 5 atm is reported. As the pressure and the copper content of the catalyst are increased, the stable service life of the catalyst and the hydrogen and NFC yield per unit weight of the catalyst, as well as the specific surface area and micropore volume of the resulting NFC, increase markedly.
