摘要
In this paper, the 2DOF ( two degree-of-freedom) theory of gearing presented in previous work [Xuezhu Dong, Study on the 2DOF gearing, Part I, Gear 14 ( 4) ( 1990) 1-7 ( in Chinese)] is generalized. All-around and systematical researches are made on the generating tool surface configuration. Some new and practical expressions of the calculating vector are replenished. The formulae of the induced normal curvature and the induced geodesic-torsion become more compact and clearer. A rather general formula of the relative sliding ratio is proposed.
