Energy-Efficient Resource Allocation in HetNets with Full Duplex and D2D Communications

摘要
Full-duplex (FD) and D2D communications have attracted a lot of interests recently. Furthermore, recent advances of interference cancellation techniques enable heterogeneous networks (HetNets) with FD. Although there are some researches on FD HetNets and D2D communication systems with FD technology, existing works have not considered them jointly. In this paper, different from existing works, we propose a HetNet with full-duplex and D2D communications. In order to investigate the energy-efficiency of our proposed system, we formulate the resource allocation problem as an optimization problem. Firstly, we formulate the system's total power consumption as the objective function. And then we use the users' minimum link rate and the maximum transmitting power of MBSs, SBS's and users as the constraints. To solve it efficiently, we transform this problem into a liner programming problem. Also, extensive simulations are conducted with different system configurations to show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
