摘要
To examine residents' comfort and confidence with adolescent gynecological skills, senior Canadian pediatric residents were surveyed. The majority of residents had not prescribed emergency contraception or provided options counseling to adolescents during their residency, and were uncomfortable with gynecological skills (68%, 75%, and 58%, respectively). Senior Canadian pediatric residents are uncomfortable and feel inadequately prepared in providing routine gynecological care to adolescents. (c) 2006 Society for Adolescent Medicine.
