摘要
The current situation of geological hazard and the necessity of spatial database in Xiang yang were analyzed, the basic structure of geological hazard spatial database system of Xiang yang were designed, its main components included seven sub-systems, which were the basis geographic database, socioeconomic database, hydrological and meteorological databases, historical hazard databases, remote sensing databases, metadata database and disaster knowledge database, etc. And five major functions of the database were proposed, which were geological hazard spatial data collection and input, storage and management, geologic hazard information query and analysis, output and display, and security and maintenance functions of database.
