Study on Fusion Algorithms of QuickBird Remote Sensing Image Data

摘要
To enhance image information through image fusion, simultaneously it is advantage to the extraction and classification for characteristic information. In this paper, QuickBird satellite images were handled by six transform methods. On the one hand, evaluation on the feasibility of high spatial resolution satellite images with the traditional fusion methods; on the other hand, a new fusion method combining with PCA Transform, Multiplicative Transform, Brovey Transform, HIS Transform and Wavelet Transform were applied and compared, and their merits and drawbacks were discussed. The result indicated: After Gram-schmidt transform fusion, the image visual effect is best, in statistical table, the image statistical parameters are better than others after Gram-schmidt transform fusion. Therefore, the Gram-schmidt method for the Quickbird data fusion is one of best methods.
