摘要
Business Continuity Management (BCM) aims to reduce risks and develops plans for restoring business activities if they are interrupted by a disaster. As business are increasingly dependent on IT services, the objective of IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) is to support the overall BCM by ensuring that required IT infrastrucure (IT services) can be restored within optimal costs and time after a disaster. The business impact analysis (BIA) as well as the risk analysis are very important phases of the BCM process in order to determine the critical business processes and their priority for the recovery in the case of outages caused by disasters. The purpose of the paper is to conduct the business impact analysis within the specific trade organization in Croatia. The obtained results can be used to further the implementation and maintenance of the business continuity in the same organization.
