摘要
High-quality protective clothing is essential in many high risk jobs. It is no doubt that the test and evaluation of protective performance is very important for protective clothing before used. The tests on samples of fabrics using laboratory tests can provide the complete information of only fabrics but not clothing. The total protective performance of protective clothing must be tested and evaluated also. In this paper, the significance of total protective performance is reviewed. Some typical total performance test and evaluation methods used at home and abroad are discussed in detail. The trend of total protective performance test is estimated. To test and evaluate the total protective performance more effectively, a new theory is introduced.
