Speed Control of Induction Motor using A Fuzzy Logic Controller and Direct Torque Controller

摘要
This paper proposes a Direct Torque Control (DTC) for three-phase induction motor using Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) an alternative for the traditional PI controller. The DTC has some special features like no feedback current control and vector transformation. This method gives an excellent dynamic response with a simple structure. Since the DTC experiences a high torque and flux ripples due to the use of the PI controller but using FLC gives an advantage to reduces flux and torque ripples. An FLC assures definite speed tracking and gradually improves the robustness against ambiguity and disturbances. The effectiveness of the presented method is analyzed with the help of simulation results.
