摘要
This paper describes ongoing programs to develop fiber optic-based integrated vehicle health management (IVHM) systems for the NASA Space Shuttle and the Lockheed Martin X-33 reusable launch vehicle demonstrator, System requirements for IVHM systems are covered, followed by a descriptions of the strain, temperature and hydrogen sensors systems making up the IVHM system, and finally test and verification data is described. Data from the launch of the NASA Space Shuttle will be presented at the conference.
