Virtual Lab to Study Power Electronics in LabVIEW Framework

摘要
This work concerns some educational aspects of power electronics. Aiming to help students in computer exercises as well as hands-on and remote laboratory experimentations, the paper presents the topology and functioning of the model-based laboratory system to study power electronics and to evaluate converters operation. An object-oriented approach is used for teaching arrangement in the scope of the class-built modelling. Detailed description of ac/dc, dc/ac, ac/ac and dc/dc virtual power converters and their control circuits is given. Educational advantages and restrictions of the described software are analysed.
