Elman Neural Network Based on Cultural Algorithm and Its Application

Cultural algorithm is a kind of intelligent optimization algorithm, which contains a unique double evolutionary mechanism. It can use the experiences of the excellent individual knowledge and search for the optimal solution in the solution space efficiently. Cultural algorithm also provides a more evolutionary computing framework, any kind of conform to the requirements of the cultural algorithm of evolutionary algorithm can be embedded in the cultural algorithm framework as an evolutionary process of population space. The Elman neural network is applied to set up the compensation performance model of the transient electric field test system, and the network weights and thresholds are optimized by the cultural algorithm. The simulation result shows that the cultural algorithm has better optimize performance than the standard genetic algorithm. At the same time, the satisfying model of compensation performance is obtained.
