摘要
A secured multimedia communication through an unsecured channel has always been a challenge for the researchers. In this article, a biometric cryptography is proposed and analyzed for image encryption where biometric characteristic of the Electrocardiography (ECG) signal and chaotic behavior of the Duffing map are both combined to provide a unique personalized encryption. In this proposed method, duffing map is used as a chaotic function which has a very distinctive dynamic property and can be very sensitivity to its initial values. Moreover, ECG signal is also a unique parameter of collecting biometric information which is used as the initial key in duffing map by collecting them from a handmade portable ECG amplifier. Unique ECG signal with dynamic chaotic behavior of duffing map can be an ideal key for biometric cryptography. Computer simulations are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
