A Countermeasure Study on the Relationship between Teaching and Scientific Research

Teaching and scientific research in are the two integral components in colleges and universities, this paper analyzes how to correctly understand and handle the relationship between them and puts forwards some suggestions to achieve "scientific research to promote teaching". The author thinks that there are contradictions to some extent between teaching and scientific research, but they are unified in most cases and scientific research can be used to promote teaching. In China, the rigid education management system separates the relationship between teaching and scientific research, higher education evaluation mode and incentive policy exist "paying more attention to scientific research, less to teaching". In order to achieve "scientific research to promote teaching", Chinese colleges and universities should carry out position classification setting between teaching and scientific research, improve school-running idea and incentive policy, stress the construction of teaching team and scientific research team, and take measures to promote research into teaching.
