Computer vision sensing and neuraon control of weld pool dynamics in the pulsed GTAW

摘要：
This paper investigates using computer vision technique, artificial neural networks for sensing, modeling and control of the pulsed GTAW pool dynamic process. A visual double-side sensing system for weld pool was designed to extract the weld pool geometry parameters. Neural network model is established for describing welding pool dynamics and predicting the backside width. The neuron control scheme experiment on the process has been completed.
