摘要
Because of significant capabilities of Space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) implementation in discrete systems, this method has been widely applied in Z-source inverters. ZSVM is one of the switching methods for Z-source inverters. Couple of disadvantages of this method can be mentioned as 1) Fluctuation of inductor current causes earsplitting noises phenomenon, 2) During shoot-through period, the switches of one leg turn on and this leads to extra losses and higher voltage drop in the switches. 3) Stochastic spot of shoot-through implementation during one switching period causes irregularity in DC bus voltage. In this paper, a new modified ZSVM (M-ZSVM) switching method for z-source inverter has been proposed. In this switching method by utilizing fixed shoot-through spot, irregularity of DC bus voltage is diminished and this leads to elimination of low frequency oscillation in inductor current. Moreover, because all switches are turned on during shoot-through period, switch losses and voltage drop decrease and causes equal distribution of heat between switches. The performance of the proposed switching strategy is analyzed in detail. Simulation and experimental results of proposed method verify the effectiveness and feasibilities of suggested strategy.
