摘要
An electronic mechanism for the superconductivity in MgB2 is proposed on the basis of a picture that the B-p(a) band electrons are a realization of the two-dimensional low-density electron gas. With the RPA screened Coulomb interaction, we solve the linearized gap equation to obtain the transition temperature and the gap function for a range of electron density. The 'isotope effect' is also discussed within this picture. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
