Seit bekannt ist, dass COVID-19-Infizierte eine erhohte Thromboseneigung haben, wird versucht, eine Praventionsstrategie zu finden, mit der sich thrombembolische Ereignisse in dieser speziellen Patientengruppe am effektivsten verhindern lassen. Barnes und seine Kollegen stellen nun die aktuellen Handlungsempfehlungen des Antikoagulationsforums vor.
