摘要
Formulae describing the evolution with time, and the final values of splat thickness, splat radius and the rates of their Variation in the process of droplet flattening during thermal spraying are obtained. They take into account surface roughness, surface-splat friction, splat solidification, and droplet mass loss. On the basis of these formulae the flattening process was investigated. The theoretical results obtained agree well with the experimental data and can be used for predictive purposes.
