摘要
The VEMA project aims at the systematic exchange of information between traffic operators of all modes, the collation and utilisation of traffic-related data as well as strategic traffic control and information in the Vienna region. The organisational concept examines a range of organisational structures - from fully state-owned to private - of varying suitabi1ity. The combined traffic data system aimed at { XE "Verkehrsdatenverbund" } the creation of a supra-modal and supra-territorial, current, dynamic and complete integrated traffic situation assessment for the purposes of traffic information, traffic management and traffic planning is described. VEMA also provides an umbrella for projects conducted by project partners to optimise specific operations, to integrate the data captured in each project into the combined traffic data system of VEMA. The projects are briefly summarized.
