摘要
The electrical windings are the necessary centerpiece for creating the rotating magnetic field. The winding is then a determining factor for the quality of dynamic performances of any electrical machine. This paper deals with the condition of transformation by re-winding a static armature of a small power three-phase squirrel cage induction machine to a five-phase machine. Only double-layer windings are considered in this paper. By elsewhere, a detailed description of the resulting distribution factor similarly the MMF distribution of both fractional and integral pitch five-phase windings is accurately treated.
