摘要
The new designs of educational software applied to special education allow to establish strategies to facilitate the learning of children with intellectual disabilities. This research builds an integrative vision of the Pedagogical field and the Computer Engineering, by designing free software which allows to create interactive programs in the country's own language. The project is part of an inclusive process in which it is intended to respond to the special needs of children with intellectual disabilities. Free software was designed for computer that aims to induce the development of sensory-motor and reading-writing abilities, in which children with intellectual disability often face developmental problems. Through the different tasks or multimedia support, such as: sounds, images, word complements, memorization, among others, the child interacts through games to streamline the reading-writing process and thus develop their learning process. Methodology.-A quantitative study is carried out about the advances related to the learning of children who have intellectual disabilities with the developed software. The software was installed and is used in the computers of the Psychopedagogical Program of the Facultad Estudios Superiores de Aragon.
